The option to Compact the Registry is available on Windows® 98/ME systems only. It can be accessed from the main menu Action -> Compact the Registry command. Or after successful registry correction the program automatically prompts to compact the registry.
Registry Healer calls Windows® registry tool scanreg.exe with "opt" parameter for compacting, so this operation is as safe as Microsoft can guarantee.
